The Next Step

As I am now in my final year at university, I have taken it upon myself to think to the future and start applying for graduate jobs. Scary stuff right? But the silver lining to this is that it opens up a whole new potential to my wardrobe; workwear! I can't say university has called for sharp suits and shift dresses so I am looking forward to being able to read the workwear sections of magazines and actually pick up tips! A high street store that has always been synonymous in my mind with great workwear is Next and this season they did not let me down.
I love this jacket and it's possibilities for creating outfits! The flashes of purple and blue will make it a great match with coloured trousers or it will bring any suit trousers and white shirt bang up to date.

This suit has a real sixties feel to it and paired with the pussy bow top adds a great feminine touch.

This printed dress has taken inspiration from the geometric prints seen on the runway at Marc Jacobs and Prada and comes in this seasons must-have colour; purple. I'd team it with a thin, brightly coloured (possibly yellow) belt to really make the purple stand out!

Now all I need is a job....

  1. We have the floral blazer in the West Quay store, it's really lovely and that have some beautiful floral tailored dresses in there at the moment! x x

  2. I am updating my work and events wardrobe soon and that print jacket looks like something I can add for both aspects.
Never really liked shopping but I am looking forward to it this time.
