Fashion Babylon

Ever wanted to know what goes into a fashion collection? Where designers get their ideas? How a supermodel becomes so 'super'? And who really decides what hot and what's not?
I have just finished reading 'Fashion Babylon' by Imogen Edwards-Jones and have learnt the answers for all those questions and more!

A fictional tale of a struggling designer set over a six month period; it gives a fascinating insight into the design process from drawing board to runway and everything in-between. A frank and sometimes shocking story that features amazing anecdotes supplied by the anonymous source that Edwards-Jones always seems to coax into working with her. I recommend it to anyone interested in fashion!
"Exquisitely cut and gorgeously detailed, Fashion Babylon explains the mark-ups and the comedowns, the fabulous extremes and the shoddy short cuts behind one of the most lucrative and secretive of businesses." -
